'Action Replayy' faces new shocker: Song stolen?

A popular Assamese singer has claimed that a chartbuster song in Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai starrer box-office dud 'Action Replayy' was copied from his earlier work. "Composed by music director Pritam, the 'Zor Ka Jhatka' song is lifted from two of my songs written years ago," Kumar Bhabesh alleged.
"The 'mukhra' (first stanza) of the song is copied from my album 'Sunpahi' published seven years ago, while the 'antara' (middle stanza) has been copied from the 'Ruksana' song of my 2008 album 'Roja'," he said.
On what took him so long to raise the issue, Bhabesh said he was away on a two-month music project in a remote village in Assam's Karbi Anglong district.
Demanding due credit for his work, he said "If they used my scores then they should have given due credit and informed me at least." The music composer said that he would consult lawyers within a couple of days.
Pritam could not be contacted immediately, while the producers of the film refused comment.
Recently, the soundtrack of the superhit number 'Munni Badnaam Hui' from 'Dabangg' was said to have been inspired by a Bhojpuri song 'Launda Badnaam Hua Naseeban Tere Liye'.

Rakhi’s harsh comment allegedly causes death….

Now this is some HOT News.
One of the justice seekers from Rakhi Sawant’s show ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’ is dead.
Reason: Rakhi Sawant had called him “namard” ( impotent) on national television.
Laxman Prasad, a 24-year-old man from Jhansi in UP, killed himself after being supposedly depressed for being called ‘impotent’ by Rakhi Sawant after he appeared on her show ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’.
The young man stopped eating and drinking and died on wednesday.
According to Prasad’s mother, the ill-treatment by Rakhi on the show caused Prasad to go into depression.
“My son was so upset with the indecent remarks that he stopped meeting any outsiders or neighbours, who used to laugh at him referring to the remarks by Rakhi Sawant…They (neighbours) had seen the show and how that girl (Sawant) referred to my son as ‘namard and napunsak’ (impotent),” Prasad’s mother Savitri Ahirwal told reporters on Thursday.
“Upset over the remarks, my son went into acute depression and even stopped eating food… He gradually became weak and frail and ultimately died yesterday… No one other than Rakhi Sawant is responsible for the untimely death of my son,” she added.
Prasad’s family members are now planning to take legal action against Rakhi.

Who’s the new teen queen in Bollywood?

Good-looking, stylish and seen with the best men by their side — actors Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor have more than just their debut date in common between them. They were pitted against each other right from the start, where Deepika’s debut Om Shanti Om released alongside Sonam’s Saawariya in 2007. Plus, it was rumoured that they were both vying for the same guy, a young actor gunning for the top league himself.

Cut to 2010, both actors are being wooed by top directors, A-list actors and have equal films in their kitty.Deepika is currently shooting for Rohit Dhavan’s Desi Boyz with John Abraham and Akshay Kumar, while Sonam is shooting for actor Pankaj Kapur’s directorial debut Mausam with Shahid Kapoor. While Sonam has Anees Bazmee’s Thank You and Abbas Mustan’s remake of The Italian Job, Deepika has been approached for Race 2 and is also reportedly doing Homi Adajania’s next. In terms of endorsements as well, Deepika is endorsing seven brands, while Sonam has around five.

Says director Punit Malhotra, who’s worked with Sonam in I Hate Luv Storys, “Sonam is well read, trained and does not need to be guided. Her grasping power is amazing. The best thing about her is her effortless acting. She’s someone to watch out for."
Debutant director Danish Aslam is all for the heroine of his film. “Deepika’s always been one of those smile-that-can-light-up-a-ballroom personalities. But the calibre of acting that she brought to the table has been a revelation for me. She’s spontaneous, off-the-cuff and has a carefully hidden mad streak that comes out every once in a while.”
